Gena and Jean discuss the history and evolution of Earth Day and the issues of pollution as well as conservation. This program is broadcast the first time on 22 April 2018, the 48th anniversary of the first Earth Day. Jean talks about the preparation for the first Earth Day in the first half and more information on the history of the event and ways our ancestors were conservationists in their own right, are included in the second half.
(Note: there is some interference on this recording; we have attempted to clean it up, requiring some "looping" - rerecording small portions. We apologize for that static.)
